Simple Cotton Tam
Simple Cotton Tam
Cotton
$25
I've been getting asked for a while now when I'm going to start selling hats. Well folks - here ya go! My favourite kind of hat to make is the tam - they're fun, versatile, you can pop 'em in your bag or purse, and they make a great way to keep your hair back. :)
This crocheted tam is a smaller size tam than the Purple Sparkle Tam and made from 100% cotton yarn, so it's ideal for those who have allergies to wool or who are looking for a tam that doesn't require special care (this tam is washer and dryer friendly). Variegated shades of white, light blue, light green, and olive green make this a tam that will go with multiple outfits. Also provides warmth in winter! The back has an open weave design and a more gathered style that nicely frames the face. The tam features a drawstring around the brim that allows you to adjust for size - this way it's guaranteed to fit just about every adult head.
Can also double as a funky snood for those guys or gals with long hair or who are rockin' locks.

I've been getting asked for a while now when I'm going to start selling hats. Well folks - here ya go! My favourite kind of hat to make is the tam - they're fun, versatile, you can pop 'em in your bag or purse, and they make a great way to keep your hair back. :)
This crocheted tam is over-sized, so if you dig big roomy hats that stand out this is the hat for you! Variegated shades of purple, blue, plum, violet, and the occasional band of green combined with purple glittery threads make for a phat hat that is fun to wear no matter the weather. The blend of acrylic and wool allows this hat to breathe and the weave allows enough airflow that you will get just the right amount of heat in winter. The tam features a drawstring around the brim that allows you to adjust for size - this way it's guaranteed to fit just about every adult head.
Can also double as a funky snood for those guys or gals with extra-long hair or who are rockin' locks.
Tam will need to be hand-washed in cold water and dried flat.

Crafting away!
It's been a while since I've posted here (almost a month!) due to being busy! Morgantown Pagan Pride Day was a blast, and now I am busy getting items ready for Witchy Weekend in October and River Arts in December. Be on the lookout for new items to appear here after Labor Day (9/3/12)!

NOTICE: Beeswax Votive Price Change
I am getting my beeswax from a different supplier and due to the cost of the wax per pound I am going to have to raise the price of beeswax votives from $2 to $3. This price change will only apply to beeswax candles made starting *this month*. If you have beeswax candles from me prior to 8/10/12 (today) you will still be charged $2/votive. Thanks!
